The University is a member of the Business Disability Forum (BDF), a not for profit organisation experienced at providing specialist advice and thought leadership to help organisations implement best practice and embed disability equality.
Advice Service
The University has access to the BDF’s confidential Advice Service, a team of expert advisors providing guidance and practical problem solving help. The service is available to University managers and departments including: line managers; Human Resources Managers; Equality and Inclusion teams, Disability Services, Estates and Facilities, Procurement; Wellbeing, Safety and Health. Senior leaders can also access the Advice Service for guidance on strategy, policy and how to approach future challenges.

Resource Library
The University has access to the BDF’s resource library which includes practical information to help managers, departments and leaders support disabled employees and serve disabled people across the University.
