Bullying and Harassment

The University of Leeds believes that every member of staff has the right to work in a supportive environment, free from harassment, bullying and victimisation. Similarly, every student at the University has the right to study and be taught in an environment that is supportive and free from such behaviours.

The University has a Dignity and Mutual Respect Policy (PDF) incorporating guidance and outlining the procedure for reporting unacceptable behaviours. The policy also contains information for colleagues and managers who are responding to reports.

Information on how to access support around bullying, harassment or victimisation is available for staff (including supporting students) is available via our intranet pages (log in required). Information for students is available on the University website.

Report + Support

You can share what has happened anonymously or provide your contact details. If you provide an email address, an appropriate person will be in touch to discuss in confidence. Report + Support also has information to help you access support or give support to someone else.
