Under Your Nose: International Women's Day Event
The Women at Leeds Staff Equity network and Leeds Trinity University Women's Network are hosting a joint event for International Women's Day 2024 with the aim of fostering a deeper understanding of the rich cultural diversity of the universities of Leeds and Leeds Trinity, enriching colleagues' cultural awareness and celebrate the achievements and contribution of our international staff members. This event is open to staff from the universities of Leeds and Leeds Trinity.

Guest lecture from Professor Dame Jane Francis
The Equality and Inclusion Unit (EIU) warmly welcomes colleagues and students to a guest lecture for International Women’s Day 2024 with Professor Dame Jane Francis, Chancellor of the University of Leeds in an event Chaired and hosted by Professor Julia Bennell, Executive Dean of LUBS. The talk will cover reflections on Professor Dame Jane Francis’ fascinating career in polar sciences and touch on topics such as climate crisis in relation to gender equality.
