  • Leeds LGBT+ Hub - The Leeds LGBT+ Community Hub is facilitated by Leeds City Council and supported by community members and organisations. The group meets quarterly, however there are various working groups which meet more regularly to focus on BME, Bisexuality, Trans & Gender Identity, inclusive sports and LGBT women. We focus on 2 main objectives of Making Leeds a LGBT+ inclusive city, and ensuring we represent the range of diversity within our community. Leeds LGBT+ Hub events can be found on Eventbrite.
  • Freedom Quarter - Your free guide to everything LGBT in the city of Leeds.
  • Stonewall - National organisation promoting lesbian, gay and bisexual equality issues.
  • MESMAC - Yorkshire MESMAC is one of the oldest and largest sexual health organisations in the country. We offer services to various communities including men who have sex with men, BME people, people misusing drugs, sex workers and LGB&T young people and adults.
  • Lesbian Socials in Leeds - A group of gay women from all over Yorkshire socialising in and around Leeds, Huddersfield & York, friendly to all lesbians, bisexuals and transgender women.
  • Leeds Gay Men - A group for gay and bisexual men in Yorkshire and beyond. We hold all kinds of interesting, exciting or just plain fun events.
  • Leeds Bi GroupA social/support group that meets twice a month in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
  • Proud ‘N’ DiverseA non profit LGBTQI+ Support and social group based in Leeds City Centre.
  • TransLeeds - A support and advocacy group for transgender identifying people in Leeds and the surrounding area, as well as their families and friends.  We aim to provide practical help with all stages and aspects of transition. TransLeeds is run by dedicated volunteers from the community who will always give a warm welcome to new visitors. We are able to attend appointments, offer advice, and provide one to one support for trans and gender variant people.
  • Rainbow NoirA social and peer support group for people of colour who identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans*, Queer and/or Intersex (LGBTQI).
  • Experience of LGBT staff and students in Higher Education (National report) - about issues facings LGBT people in universities.
  • The Gender Trust - The largest registered charity helping trans people, and all those affected by gender identity issues.
  • Broken Rainbow - Advice, support and referral services to LGBT people experiencing homophobic, transphobic and same sex domestic violence.
  • Consortium of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered Voluntary and Community Organisations - National membership organisation focusing on the development and support of LGBT groups.
  • Gendered Intelligence - A charity, established in 2008, to increase understandings of gender diversity.
  • Schools OUT - National organisation working for LGBT equality in education.
  • Leeds Pride - Annual LGBT pride event in Leeds – fast becoming one of Yorkshire’s biggest pride events.
  • Trans Pride Leeds - Trans pride event in Leeds.
  • UK Black Pride - UK Black Pride is Europe’s largest celebration for LGBTQ people of African, Asian, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and Latin American descent.
  • JPride (A Facebook group for Jewish LGBT+people) - This is a closed Facebook group, you will need to be logged into Facebook to access/join.
  • Pink News - Europe’s largest LGBT-targeted news service.
  • DIVA Magazine - DIVA is Europe’s leading magazine for lesbians and bisexual women.
  • Press for Change - Campaigning for equality and respect for all trans people.
  • Pink Paper - Britain’s largest circulation lesbian, gay and bisexual newspaper.
  • Leeds Angels of Freedom - The Angels of Freedom is a community based initiative organised by volunteers and supported by Leeds City Council, British Transport Police and West Yorkshire Police. Our aim is to provide visible support for the LGBT+ community based in the Freedom Quarter area of the city every Friday evening.
  • West Yorkshire Queer Stories - From Wetherby to Wakefield, Cleckheaton to Castleford, everyone has a memory worth sharing. We need your voice, your skills and your help to make history, herstory and theirstory.
  • Flamingo’s Coffee House - Having opened in late 2018, situated in Central Arcade in Leeds City Centre, Flamingos is Leeds’s only dry, late night LGBT+ friendly Coffee House, open 7 days a week.
  • Leeds Queer Film Festival - We create spaces to showcase queer cinema with a focus on independent and DIY films.
  • Leeds Front RunnersAn inclusive community based running group with strong links to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community and friends.
  • Leeds Hunters - The Leeds Hunters RUFC is an inclusive rugby club. The Club's primary aim is to provide, for any adult male aged 18 or over irrespective of race, sexual orientation, ethnicity and level of fitness or experience, a safe environment in which to enjoy the game of rugby.
