- Work Life Balance – The University aims to be a ‘best practice’ employer. It recognises that, in order to promote diversity and equality, and to address and retain the highest quality work force, its employment policies need to be flexible and responsive. - Childcare Provision – The University’s Bright Beginnings Childcare Centre offers high quality childcare to students and staff members at the University. It is registered with Ofsted Early Years who register and inspect all day-care facilities and can accommodate up to 168 children aged between 3 months and 5 years. It also operates a Holiday Play scheme during the school holidays which is registered for 32 children aged between 3 and 11 years.
