I joined the Equality Policy Unit as an Equality and Inclusion Officer in December 2020. I lead on the university’s LGBT+ work, feeding into the Equality and Inclusion Framework. My work helps to embed equality and inclusion in university policy and practice, to help create an inclusive environment which will attract the best staff and students from all backgrounds.
Before joining the university, I worked extensively on equality and diversity within local government, working closely with schools to support them in becoming welcoming and inclusive environments for all young people to learn.
