Would you be interested in helping to shape and organise any of the activities of the Women at Leeds Network next year? Do you have skills and ideas that you think would benefit the network? Would you enjoy working with a team from across the University to advance gender equality at the University?
- Open to any women staff & postgraduate research students at the University of Leeds;
- Committee members next year can expect to be involved in any or all of: planning and organising events (“First Wednesday” and one-off events); identifying key issues arising and how to take them further; working on developing the “network beyond the events” through virtual community building/ follow-up sessions; linking up with other networks; feeding our ideas and experiences into the University’s structures including the development of the University strategy… and anything else that will help the network to achieve its aims of furthering gender equality and providing opportunities for women at Leeds;
- Various different levels of time commitment are possible! We’re developing new ways of working that should mean you don’t have to be available for frequent meetings; we’re hoping to recruit a large committee that can form sub-groups to work on specific areas of interest. If you can spare a few hours a month, please think about coming on board.
