A sensory garden at Charles Morris Hall has recently been introduced. The garden has focussed on improving wheelchair access to the garden and also as support for people on the autism spectrum. The garden will have year round interest, planting of varying textures, colours and scent and to attract and support biodiversity.
Facilities Directorate are working with the RNIB to produce both tactile and large print handheld plans for the garden shortly. More details will be included in the next edition of FD Matters newsletter.
If you would like more information please contact Mike Leonard in FD or if you would like to visit the garden please contact Charles Morris Hall.
