LGBT+ Role Models and Allies

The University of Leeds is very proud to have a diverse community of staff and students. Our diversity is one aspect that makes us a successful, leading, international University.

We know that visible role models are important, and that they can help to encourage, influence and develop others. We also know it is important that staff and students see people like them at all levels within our University. We are proud to showcase some of our LGBT+ role models and allies on this page.

We are always looking for more people from a range of backgrounds to be featured as role models and allies. We use LGBT+ as an inclusive, all encompassing term to represent the full range of sexual orientation and gender identities.
