World Menopause Day – Friday 18th October
The menopause and its potential impact is one of the last health taboos and the management of gender-specific health issues other than pregnancy are rarely discussed in the workplace.
A working group from the Faculty of Medicine and Health, in collaboration with Health and wellbeing services, welcome all staff from across the University to drop in sessions to raise awareness, increase understanding and create a culture where discussions around the menopause can take place.
Sessions will run:
10.00am – 11.00am;
11.30am – 12.30pm;
1.00pm – 2.00pm;
2.30pm – 3.30pm in Baines Wing Room 3.06
Book your place on eventbrite.com to come and be part of the conversation.
