‘Getting promoted: Tips and tricks’
Have you ever thought about or tried getting a promotion? Do you feel you don’t know where to go to for information and advice? Are you working towards a promotion and want to speed up the process? Do you feel that promotion routes are not clear for you? Well, you are not alone. In response to our members requests, The Women@Leeds Network is organising a session during our First Wednesday Club meeting. You are invited to come and hear our panel’s experiences and ask questions. We will explore from three perspectives: a non-academic staff, HR and promotion interview panel. An opportunity not to be missed.
Sara McDonnell, Faculty of Engineering – ‘My promotion journey from Grade 2 to 7’
Michelle Nettleton, Faculty of AHC – ‘A perspective from Human Resources’
Anne Tallontire, Faculty of Environment – ‘A promotion panellist’s perspective’
The Women at Leeds Network is run by staff and student volunteers, with support from the Equality Policy Unit.
